GOALS:
* Officially welcome the multinational delegation and guests
* Acknowledge Ted Strong, Representative on the President's Council for Sustainable Development.
* Formally announce the goals for the closing session of the General Assembly.
* Showcase the displays created by each multinational committee.
* Formally present the solutions crafted by each multinational committee.
* Formally adopt the solutions crafted by the multinational committees as an attachment to the Declaration of Environmental Rights and Responsibilities.
* Formally adopt the final version of the Declaration, announce the goals for the next two years and close the final session of the General Assembly.
Procedures
The following are the procedures for the closing of the General Assembly:
Step #1 Each delegate will take their assigned seat in the House of Representative Chamber. For the closing of the General Assembly, delegates will be seated by multinational committee.
Step #2 The Speaker will officially announce the start of the General Assembly Session. The Speaker will welcome the delegates and guests and then review the agenda for the closing of the General Assembly.
Step #3 The Speaker will introduce Ted Strong, Representative on the President's Council for Sustainable Development.
Step #4 Ted Strong will address the delegates.
Step #5 After thanking Ted Strong, the Speaker will formally introduce the multinational committees.
Step #6 Each multinational committee will present their proposed solution along with their displays to the General Assembly. The schedule for the presentations will be as follows:
* Land use and the Decade of Change
15:15-15:35
* Rapid Urbanization 15:40-16:00
* Sustainable use of Resources of Energy 16:05-16:25
* Corporate and Social Responsibility 16:30-16:50
* Sustainable Solutions to Toxic Waste 16:55-17:15
* Atlantic Coastal Forests 17:20-17:40
Step #8 The General Assembly will formally adopt the solutions that will be attached to the Declaration of Environmental Rights and Responsibilities.
Step #9 Before the Speaker closes the General Assembly session, (s)he will announce the purpose and goals of the Declaration and the 21st Century Schoolhouse over the next two years.
