Hannah Sivan - Israel Director

Hannah has been a teacher for the last 20 years, most of them at the High School for Environmental Studies in Sde-Boker, Israel. She teaches Geography, Biology, Guided Writing and Environmental Studies and has developed numerous integrated programs.

Hannah's teaching strengths focus on empowering youth to work outside the confines of the classroom and connect with other students and experts via the Internet. The resulting student activities include conducting on-site research and working with field-based scientists.

Hannah has conducted numerous training workshops and seminars on an international level. These training sessions include such topics as: introduction to the Internet; the use of the Internet in education; development of the autonomous student; integrating the Internet in the school; and interdisciplinary curriculum planning and teaching.
