Dr. Peregrine Kibuuka - Uganda Director

Dr. Kibuuka has been involved in education since completing his university studies at Makerere in 1972. Armed with an honors degree in Literature in English and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education, he started teaching English at Ndejje Secondary School in Luwero District.

In 1979, Dr. Kibbuka was appointed headmaster of St.John's Secondary School, Nandere, and later became headmaster at St.Kalemaba,Nazigo. In 1986 he returned to his alma mater, Namilyango College, the prestigious and oldest secondary school in Uganda, as headmaster. It was there that he pursued a Master's degree in Education Administration and Planning, following up with his Ph.D. in January 1999.

Dr. Kibuuka remains intensely interested in the education of the youth. He has pioneered computer studies in Namilyango College and it is through the Internet that the school connected with the 21st Century Schoolhouse.
