DIRECTIONS:
After discussing a variety of environmental problems that face our society, you must choose one specific problem which you think can be corrected by legislative action. Your task is to express the problem and possible solution(s) in a letter to an Oregon Congressperson. Your letter must be neat, thoughtful, well organized and must include the following:
A) A question to find out the congressperson's opinion on your chosen issue.
B) Evidence that your chosen issue is a severe problem facing Oregon and the rest of the country. Your evidence can be statistical, anecdotal or both.
C) A proposed Bill if appropriate and explanation on how your proposed Bill would be enforced.
