Dear Andrew and Molly:
It's with pleasure that I send this letter to officially notify you that Boise Cascade pledges to be a one-day sponsor at the upcoming International Youth Environmental Summit. As we discussed, this financial commitment is $6,500.
As I mentioned on the telephone, we would like actively and visibly participate in the Summit in any way we can. We can supply professional foresters and wildlife biologists who are experts in the area of resource management. What we need to know from you-the topics, when, and where. We'll help out in any way we can.
In February, I'd like to come to Salem and sit in on one of your environmental classes, if possible. I'd love to get a first-hand feel for this learning experience. After I get back from my travels, which should be about the second week in February, I'll give you a call and see if we can set up a date.
I'm really excited about working together on the Summit. The consensus of the Oregon team is that this project is a wonderful way for us to support a constructive environmental learning experience that will have an impact on high school students, one of our key audiences.
Yours truly,
Linda Alden
