Road Number Six

I live nearby to where a new road is going to be built, and because of the following fact, I think what I have to say about it is extremely important: I think people are not aware of the damage building this road will cause.

It is not just the fact that this road will destroy the habitats of animals which live nearby, but it will also lower the living standards of neighborhoods which are in its vicinity. This road will not only fail to solve the traffic problem of Israel, it will also destroy people's backyards and pollute the air they breath.

The road is going to be built over many places where many people, including myself, currently go on hikes. Not only will this road destroy natural land, the increased traffic will create enormous amounts of noise and pollution, and it will disturb the peace and quiet people expect from my neighborhood.

I don't think my community is aware that this road will have a harmful effect on their peaceful neighborhood. The solution should not be building more roads; instead, the solution should be improving existing roads and dedicating more money towards public transportation.
