Student Empowerment
One of the primary goals of The 21st Century Schoolhouse is to empower
students around the world to take active roles in their lives. These
roles include:
- Actively participating in their learning to achieve high educational
standards
- teachers, leaders, and doers.
- Taking positive actions within their community to promote human
integrity and ecological integrity
- Promoting positive and sustainable solutions to local and global
environmental and social issues
- Developing a model global community of learners and leaders
By working within the Schoolhouse Framework through a student- based
organization, schoolhouse students accomplish these major goals.
