Procedures

The Opening of the General Assembly shall follow these procedures to achieve its goals:

  1. Delegates will take their assigned seat for the General Assembly. Delegations will be seated by nation.
  2. The speaker will officially announce the start of the General assembly session. The Speaker will welcome the delegates and guests and then review the agenda for the opening of the General assembly.
  3. The Speaker will introduce ***
  4. *** will address the delegates.
  5. After thanking ***, the Speaker will formally announce the Summit theme and goals.
  6. A member(s) from the Preamble Committee will be recognized to read the Preamble to the Declaration of Environmental Rights and Responsibilities.
  7. Each country will present their Proposed Articles and related research in the following order:
    • Australia Sustainable Urban Lifestyles
    • Brazil Environmental Impact on Urban Beaches

      Break 10.35 – 11.00am

    • Israel Eco-tourism
    • Japan Environmental Problems We’ve Realized Through Our Actions

      - Lunch 12.10 – 1.10pm

    • Uganda Wetland Management
    • USA Myth & Fact of the Teenage Population

  8. The General Assembly will formally adopt the Declaration of Environmental Rights and Responsibilities
  9. The Speaker will announce the responsibilities of the multinational committees.
  10. The Speaker will close the General Assembly session.
